Overview

The Innibos Sakpas gids made its first appearance when SMS4Info introduced a unique patented interactive SMS system in 2006 that allowed consumers to SMS a keyword - like the name of an artists to a shortcode number and then responding with an automated SMS message that gave them all the information pertaining to where that artist was performing and when. This unique system allowed for directions to be aquired from the main festival grounds to the venues where artists were performing. The SMS service was paired with the Sakpas gids to enable advertisers to reach thousands of people that visits InniBos annually.

The publication gets printed and placed in an envelope to protect it as it gets distributed a month in advance to the festival already. The envelope also contains a map for tourists that will be distributed at the toll gates, as visitors enter the lowveld area at the Machado Tollgate and Nkomazi Tolgate.

Content

The InniBos Sakpas Gids contains detailed day program schedules when and where artists are performing. The publication also lists all the stalls registered within the publication so festival visitors can see what is for sale and the stalls lay out.

Distribution

This publication is distributed to all the advertisers in the publication and to relevant businesses and distributors in the tourist industry. Distribution takes place 1 month prior to the InniBos Festival and reaches the outskirts of Mpumalanaga. Due to the fact that almost 70% of the visitors to innibos is from Mpumalanga our focus is on getting the publication out there as fast as possible and inform all the locals of whats going to take place. We then distribute 30 000 publications the week of InniBos at the Machado & Nkomazi Tollgates for the rest of the visitors from outside Mpumalanga - Maximizing advertiser exposure.
